Residence Hall Check-in

Based on the residence hall to which your team has been assigned, there are different procedural instructions for your check-in on your arrival day. Upon your arrival, the Head Coach/Team Coordinator will pick up all access cards and keys for batch distribution from GW Summer & Conference Housing Programs and Residential Property Management (RPM) staff at the designated location, while the rest of the team should go directly to the assigned residence hall and await the coach’s return with the access cards and keys.

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAMS ASSIGNED TO THE FOGGY BOTTOM CAMPUS (MADISON, POTOMAC HOUSE, LAFAYETTE, AND CRAWFORD HALLS) CHECK-IN INFORMATION

• Arriving on Thursday, May 29, 2008 – The check-in location on this day will be the Marvin Center Ballroom, Third Floor, as part of onsite National Tournament registration, which will be open from 9:00am to 6:00pm for check-in.  ONLY the Head Coach/Team Coordinator should proceed to the check-in location.  After 6:00pm, late check-ins will be located at New Hall on 2350 H Street NW, Washington, DC 20052.   
• Arriving on Friday, May 30, 2008 – The check-in location on this day will be the Marvin Center Ballroom, Third Floor, as part of onsite National Tournament registration, which will be open from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  From 1:00pm to 6:00pm, the check-in location will be relocated to the Marvin Center Room 101, First Floor, also as part of onsite National Tournament registration.  ONLY the Head Coach/Team Coordinator should proceed to the check-in location.  After 6:00pm, late check-ins will be located at New Hall on 2350 H Street NW, Washington, DC 20052. 
• Arriving on May 27, May 28, or May 31 – The check-in location on these days will be located at New Hall on 2350 H Street NW, Washington, DC 20052.  Please note that check-in for these days will occur beginning at 3:00pm daily.  Plan your travel and arrival to accordingly. 

SCIENCE OLYMPIAD TEAMS ASSIGNED TO THE MOUNT VERNON CAMPUS (SOMERS, CLARK, COLE, HENSLEY, OR MERRIWEATHER) CHECK-IN INFORMATION

• Arriving on Thursday, May 29, 2008 or Friday, May 30, 2008 – The check-in location on this day will be Somers Hall at 2100 Foxhall Road NW, Washington, DC 20007, which will be open from 9:00am to 8:00pm for check-in.  ONLY the Head Coach/Team Coordinator should proceed to the check-in location.
• May 27, May 28, and May 31, 2008 – The check-in location on this day will be Somers Hall at 2100 Foxhall Road NW, Washington, DC 20007.  Please note that check-in for these days will occur beginning at 3:00pm daily.  Plan your travel and arrival to accordingly. 

All Residence Hall Check-out will occur per the instructions provided by GW Housing Programs (Foggy Bottom Campus: New Hall; Mount Vernon Campus: Somers Hall)
